Starbucks unveils "Starbucks Blonde Roast"

Starbucks is adding a lighter-roast coffee to its menu as more than 40 percent of U.S. coffee drinkers prefer a lighter roast coffee. More than 70 percent of premium coffee sales in grocery stores are of light or medium roast coffee.

The new roast will be sold starting in January.
