Former Ultimate Electronics store to become Arc Thrift Store in Colorado SpringsThe new ARC store plans to open in mid June at 7207 N Academy Blvd. and will employ about 40 people in the 22,500 sq. ft. building that was vacated by Ultimate Electronics adjacent to Mimi's Restaurant. The store will stock about 200,000 items, including men's, women's and children's clothing, household items, furniture, bedding, home decor, new mattresses and bed frames. An ARC donation center is located at 1815 Briargate Blvd. Job applicants can fill out applications at the following ARC stores: Hancock Plaza Shopping Center, Hancock Expressway & South Academy on the south side Uintah Gardens Shopping Center, 19th and Uintah Streets on the westside Market Centre Shopping Center near Austin Bluffs Pkwy and Barnes Rd. on the northeast side.
