University of Colorado-Colorado Springs to start electric car technology classes

The U.S. Department of Energy awarded a $954,000 grant to the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs and the University of Colorado-Boulder. In the fall of 2012 they will offer internet based classes on electric vehicle battery and drivetrain systems. The classes will develop into certificate, masters and Phd programs.
