Toyota recalls 420,000 vehicles in the U.S., including LexusToyota Motor Co. is recalling 137,000 Lexus and 283,200 Toyota brand cars for possible problems related to the crankshaft pulley on the engine that could make it harder to steer. There is a possibility the belt for the power steering pump may become detached from the pulley if the problem is not corrected. According to Toyota, the models are:

Ford to recall 1.1 M pickups for gas tank problemsFord Motor Co. is recalling 1.1 million pickup trucks: certain 1997 through 2004 Ford F-150 models, some 1997 through 1999 model year F-250 pickups, and Lincoln Blackwood pickups from the 2002 and 2003 model years.
