Within a couple of miles to the west of Monument is the Town of Palmer Lake. Treat yourself to a delicious meal at the inviting restaurant Bella Panini, where the owners make you feel welcome. It is a neighborhood favorite with outdoor dining on warm days.

The Rock House Ice Cream house in Palmer Lake is an old fashioned ice cream parlor with lots of different ice cream flavors. This is the best ice cream we have found anywhere. They also have soups, salads and sandwiches on their menu. A unique experience for you and your children.

A friendly Hello welcomes you to The Speedtrap. The new owners call it a great coffee shop, with draft micro beer, egg & cheese croissants, French onion soup, sweet potato bisque, various sandwiches, a dessert Nutella crepe, and life music on weekends. They just designed a new menu. We'll keep you updated.

There is also the Tri Lakes Center for the Arts. This hidden gem hosts a variety of artists and also stages great performances.

For an elegant meal in a scenic setting visit the Mozaic Restaurant in the Inn at Palmer Divide. In summertime you can enjoy the beautiful setting from their bar patio. Palmer Lake also has a spectacular fireworks display over the lake on the 4th of July.
