First electric vehicle charging station in Colorado Springs

A free, public electric vehicle charging station will open next week at First & Main Town Center on the east side of Colorado Springs, in the parking lot in front of the Cinemark Theater. The public Level II dual charging station is the first in southern Colorado Springs.

The unit will be unveiled Dec. 9, at 10 a.m. The event will include demonstrations and education on electrical vehicles.
