Council hears proposal for data center business parkThe city council was presented with a proposal of a 1 billion dollar business park on a 105 acre parcel that was formerly the old Vineyard golf course and the Pikes Peak winery, southeast of I 25 and Circle Dr., and east of the Colorado Springs arena. The park would house five to ten data centers of Fortune 500 companies, and a trash burning power plant. The estimated investment in the site would be about 1 billion dollars.
