Air Force Academy pegs economic impact on Colorado Springs at $851 M

This covers the 2010 fiscal year. The estimate includes 375.5 million in spending  and 321.5 million in military  and civilian payroll at the academy, plus 154.4 million in payroll from community jobs created because of the school's presence.
